The dashboard shows how your event is doing: entries, tickets, money and what still needs setting up.
The setup list shows each job with a percentage. Work down the list and your event is ready to go live.
This is the information your entrants and spectators see: dates, venue, contact details and policies.

A category is one thing dancers enter, like Solo Street Dance 11 to 13.

Each category needs a price before you open entries.
Entries are the routines taking part. Schools usually add them through the school portal, and you can add late entries yourself.
Use the Numbers and music tab to give every dancer a number and collect their music.
The Judging hub is where you choose how each category is scored: marks, feedback tags, callbacks or manual placings.
You can use a different style in heats and finals, for example callbacks in prelims and marks in the final.
Invite your judges here. Each judge gets a PIN to open their scoring screen on the day.
The running order is the plan for the day: blocks of categories, breaks and announcements.
Build it once your entries are in, so heats and splits are worked out from real numbers.
On the day, the Stage screen runs this plan and keeps every screen in sync.
Set up spectator tickets here: adult, child, family bundles and free under-5 tickets.
Every ticket gets its own QR code for the door team to scan.
MyDanceComp sends the routine emails for you: entry confirmations, payment reminders and the day-before email.
You can edit the wording, switch any message off, and send your own updates to everyone entered.
The Money tab shows everything in and out: entry fees, ticket sales, booking fees and your payouts.
After the event, confirm your cash takings here so the numbers match.

Work down the setup list on your dashboard. Open entries, share your public page, and watch entries come in.

Entry and ticket money is collected by card. The platform fee is 1.5% and there is a £1 booking fee per spectator ticket.
Choose how you get paid in Get paid: straight to your bank with Stripe, or collected by MyDanceComp and paid to you by bank transfer after the event.
