Built by a dance-dad and a dance-daughter
MyDanceComp is built by a dance-dad and his dance-daughter who have spent more than a decade at competitions, from early-morning registration queues to waiting for the last recall of the day. We've seen the challenges on the floor first-hand: lost entries, running orders that slip, recalls nobody heard and results that take forever to come out.
Street dance competitions run on talent, energy and goodwill, but the admin still runs on spreadsheets, group chats and paper. So we're building the software we always wished our comps had: entries that sort themselves, recalls that tally themselves, a running order everyone can see, and a money position you can read at a glance.
Built from the floor up
Every screen in MyDanceComp exists because somebody needed it at a real competition: the judge whose pen ran out, the desk queue at 9am, the organiser re-counting recall sheets at 6pm.
Independent, on purpose
We are not part of any federation or organiser. Rule packs describe conventions from published public rules, and you can change every setting to match how you run your event.
Honest pricing
Free to build, one event pass when you go live, no subscription, no per-entry charges, no door-booking fee. You should know exactly what an event costs before you start.
Plain words
No jargon, no dark patterns, no invented numbers. If we are not sure of something on this site, we say so plainly until we can prove it.
