Judging, properly
Recall heats and the skating system, done for you
The two judging systems street dance runs on, tallied automatically. Judges tap numbers or rank finalists on their phones. MyDanceComp applies the majority rules and shows the full working, so nobody argues with the result.

Hands on
Feel how a recall works
Mark six of twelve dancers, submit, and watch the tally apply the majority line. This is the same maths MyDanceComp runs for every heat.
Judge a heat now
0 of 6 marked
Twelve dancers are on the floor. Mark exactly 6 numbers to put through.
Majority needed to advance: 2 of 3 judges.
The two systems
How each one works
Recall: for heats and prelims
Each judge marks the numbers they want to see again. With three judges, a dancer needs two marks: a majority. The tally takes the top dancers by marks until the quota is filled. Ties at the cut-off are shown clearly and resolved by the head judge: majority count, everyone tied goes through, or a re-dance.
In MyDanceComp the tally appears the moment the last judge submits. Nothing to count, nothing to misread.
The skating system: for finals
Each judge ranks every finalist, first to last. Placings are decided by looking for a majority at each ordinal: first place goes to the dancer with a majority of firsts, and so on down, with standard tiebreak rules when majorities tie.
MyDanceComp works the whole grid automatically and shows every ordinal and majority, so the result can be checked line by line before it is published.
Rule packs
Start from a published convention, then make it yours
Rule packs set quota style, final sizes, panel guidance and tiebreak handling from conventions published in public federation rules. Pick one for your event, then adjust anything.
Ideal final sizes, quota tables and majority handling are all configurable per category.
MyDanceComp is independent and not affiliated with UDO, SOAR, BDO, the ADFP or any organiser. Rule packs describe conventions published in their public rules.
